Oil on board, 30x30cm It’s often nice to have a change, and I haven’t painted a still life for a while.
Oil on canvas 14×11″ I love this painting, I like the orange glow on the horses back and the cool shadows.
Oil on board, 14×11″ This was the most delightful scene, spotted by chance during a walk through the village.
Oil on board, 8×10″ This painting is all about conveying different textures and terrain. I had particular delight in painting the gorse and the shiny coat on the wild pony.
Oil on board, 20×16″ This was a cracking subject, I liked the moments pause when the fisherman stopped to look at his dog, who seemed quite happy to be on dry land again. I was glad I painted this when i did as the land Rover has been resprayed bright orange.!

Oil on board, 10×8″ This became a smaller preferred painting after having completed one that was twice as big. I think the intimacy of this piece is a vast improvement.
Oil on canvas 11×14″ I was impatiently waiting for things to dry so I painted a collection of sheep studies. It’s good practice for when I do larger paintings of them.
Oil on board, 7×10″ I painted this on location. It was just the most amazing subject! I had in mind a larger watercolour because it was such a cracking subject.
