I took the photo for this painting on the Ferry returning from Mevagissey. It was a beautiful October afternoon with warm sun and a chilly breeze. The light wasn’t particularly strong but gleamed through a haze of light cloud; it glistened on the sea and contrasted nicely against the deep, slivery green colour. The yacht was included to give the piece a focal point.
