Oil on board, 8×8″ I was able to take complete advantage of a couple of really low tides last year and was able to paint the opposite view into the harbour. It was a very satisfying subject and I hope to repeat again in the afternoon light when I can paint contre-jour.

Oil on board, 6×8″ There was a lovely tree-lined walk from the cottage to Ready Money Cove in Fowey. The first morning we woke up and walked the path, barely able to see as it was still dark and very misty. We reached the top of the headland and this absolute knockout subject presented itself!
Oil on board, 5.75×8.25″ This is one of my most favourite paintings! I was inspired by Munnings and included the horse and hound to give energy to the work and the red jacket of the rider adds a bit of warmth to an otherwise chilly painting.
