Golden Canopies

Oil on board, 8×12″

I wasn’t in the best of moods painting this. Paint was splattering every where and in places straight out of the tube. I turned it to the wall and forgot about it for a few days. When I came back to it, I worked a few areas and overall I think I have captured the vitality of tone on a frosty autumn morning! You can still see the initial brush strokes in the sky.
