Oil on board, 7×5″ We came back after a full day’s painting at Rock and this scene presented itself! I rushed outside and sat beneath the light from the kitchen window. It reminds me of the work by Julius Olsson a St Ives School artist.

Oil on board, 7×10″ This is one of the most stunning subjects near to where we live. I never tire of painting this scene. When we arrived to set up, we startled a flock of crows and I knew that this would be a prominent feature in the piece. I also like the warm tones
