Watercolour | 7.25 x 6 inches I saw this subject in the terms of a watercolour painting straight away. The stunning light, dark shapes and contrasts between were perfectly suited for this medium. 

Watercolour | 4.5 x 5 inches I finished this little experimental watercolour without any drawing, I went straight in with paint. It made me look harder at the face and made me squint more to simplify the shapes and colours.

Watercolour | 7.5 x 9.5 inches Sennen is quite an attraction for artists from Laura Knight to Ken Howard. I think it must be the light which is scintillating. I was a bit surprised when this painting worked as the colours were so bright but I think the dark triangular shaped shadows tie it all

Watercolour | 5 x 6 inches It’s quite a typical scene on the broads seeing the geese flying about the marshes in winter, sometimes they make a really nice painting.
