“THROUGH THE MIST”: I love the vignette style to this piece of work, I think it helps to add movement and spontaneity to the subject.

“CATTLE UNDER WINTER SKIES”: Sometimes some of my smaller pieces say the most about my appreciation for the flat lands and big skies of Norfolk.

“THE BRAID”: I love the traditional element of red jackets and riders in our countryside. I was particularly pleased with how well this piece turned out.

“THE DUTCH HOUSE”: I never get tired of painting this part of Staithe Road, especially in the winter.

“BILLIE COMING HOME”: A rain shower always helps to sharpen colours and I particularly like the splash of red in this painting.

“THE BRIDGE, PONT”: Set deep into the estuary between Polruan and Bodinnick lies Pont, a beautiful, secluded area ideal for lazy summer days.

“YELLOW WELLIES”: The turquoise waters and yellow wellington boots were difficult to resist in this piece. The portrait orientation helps to amplify the depth of the wall beside the boats.

“MASTS AT MORSTON”. Another chance to appreciate one of North Norfolk’s beautiful gems.

“THE BRIDGE, STAITHIES”: I like the strong light and shadows in this piece.
