Study of a Farmer

Pastel 7×5″ Less is sometimes more. I enjoy working with pastels to a greater extent than I have before and I like the durability and flexibility they allow. I have enjoyed studying the human form in closer detail and executing more detailed works showing this.

A Gentle Breeze

Pastel, 5×6.75″ I love the sky in this piece and the way it is reflected in the water, broken up by the breeze causing the blue ripples. This is one of my favourite pastels.

Will Puncher

Pastel, 12×7.75″ The sunlight catching Will’s face, the handle and the bale was a real treat to paint.
