“CATTLE WALKING AT ST BENET’S” I love St Benet’s abbey, Ludham, Norfolk and how the old ruin nestles comfortably into the landscape, with new life grazing around it each year and sail boats passing by, it changes with each season. see It’s Our World here
“FIRST CHRISTMAS”: I was really pleased with how well this painting turned out, it meant a lot to be able to capture a rather young family member celebrating his first Christmas.
“BRISK WALK”: The livery yard at Swafield have been very kind to allow me to observe and photograph their day to day activities with the horses. Bridal pathways surround this local area and it is great to see riders making the most of it.
“GEESE AT AN AYLSHAM BROOK”: This is from a snap shot taken on the way to Aylsham, I take a camera with me wherever I go and we are always stopping to photograph different things.
“THROUGH THE MIST”: I love the vignette style to this piece of work, I think it helps to add movement and spontaneity to the subject.
“CATTLE UNDER WINTER SKIES”: Sometimes some of my smaller pieces say the most about my appreciation for the flat lands and big skies of Norfolk.
