“It wouldn’t be right for me to do an exhibition and not include a painting or two of Cornwall, because it was in Cornwall where my love of painting was ignited 15 years ago! This one is of Porthcothan beach at sunset, painted while on holiday there in October. It was a god awful morning, heavy rain and howling wind. Thankfully, it eventually stopped and I managed to capture this beautiful sunset. The wind was still blowing and the sand stung my legs! The beach looked immaculate as the sand that the wind had blown had covered everyone’s footprints!”
