“A good friend introduced me to these two farmers, they were such traditional characters. They farm in Norfolk using old fashioned techniques. It was such a pleasure to spend an afternoon with them and getting photos of them combining.

I took the photo for this painting while they were having a cup of tea after lunch and knew instantly it would make for an interesting painting. Note the bottle of brown sauce says, ‘HM sauce’, in celebration on the late Queens Jubilee.“
