Down The Edge Of The Distant Storm The Hail Storm Sweeps

Oil on Board | 8 x 10 inches

About the painting:

“It was a day of sunshine and heavy showers. Up the coast from Salthouse, towards Blakeney, a hailstorm was approaching. I started this painting in sunshine and an absolutely still silence. However, as the storm swept ever closer, deep rumblings of thunder sounded in the sky. Large droplets of rain began to fall on my palette, and this was the cue to ‘hop frog it’ to the car before the deluge!” Kieron
