Being at the Royal Norfolk Show 2014, painting in the ‘This is Holt’ tent seemed to boost Kieron’s confidence, and during his July exhibition he wasn’t phased at all by the looming crowds of people, sitting quietly behind him as he painted in oils, pastels and watercolours. No sooner had one been finished, it was taken round to the framing department and frames chosen by the new owner… I can only guess how it must feel for people to be able to buy a piece of work that they have witnessed Kieron working on first hand… we see him paint every day in the house and out on location, and even now it remains a remarkable privilege.
