About the painting:

“I was very kindly allowed to drop in on a photoshoot arranged by Simon Rudd from SJR Equine Photography. It was an idyllic morning in late July on a little beach near Happisburgh on the Norfolk Coast watching around half a dozen riders enjoying the morning on horseback. Is there a more joyful sight than seeing horses cantering along the shore? I hope that feeling conveys across in this painting. I felt it was important not to just daub the paint on to depict the moving water, but to actually put effort in to capture the interesting, abstract forms.” Kieron
