As spring arrived this year and the cattle moved out onto the fields, days became stronger and brighter, in stark contrast to last spring. It was lovely being able to soak up the sun and capture the cattle at rest on a hot but hazy day. I stood upstream at the edge of a field, photographing the friendly faces that greeted me from above.
