“The view from this stubble field was beautiful. I had to rush a little bit as the sun had set and darkness was quickly falling, however I do love painting at dusk, and being short of time makes my brushwork more responsive and expressive. This immediacy is something that I really like within a painting and I find that it can only be achieved from plein air painting.”
