...and to our amazement, Kieron painted from as early as 7am, and still had time for Gilly crabbing, swimming, boat trips, hilltop walks, lunch out every day, trips to Looe etc. We wondered how Kieron would behave this time around, given the fact that two years ago, Kieron wasn't drawing for himself. We didn't apply any pressure and wanted Kieron to enjoy his time as well.

But, when we all watched Kieron at work it was easy to see that this is him, its not something you can leave behind or have a day off from. While Billie Jo sat on the carpet colouring in with felt tip pens, Kieron was either outside at his easel or at the kitchen table. He only took his watercolours with him, as oil paints would have been impractical, but the watercolours that Kieron painted are his best yet, and I would struggle to sell them, they hold such sentimental value.
